The beautiful sanctuary of the CPC was designed in the style of a traditional English country chapel.

THE CHAPEL can comfortably seat 200 adults; was built with attention to detail to ensure that design, shape, natural light, coloured windows, chandeliers, sound, music, pews and details of amongst others the lectern, font and Table add to an ambiance that will edify all who attend, enjoying fellowship with the Lord and each other; provides an atmosphere of reverence, worship, praise and joyous fellowship! was built with attention to features that will make special occasions such as weddings a memorable and comfortable experience; has more than adequate parking; is equipped with both a modern electronic piano and an authentic, traditional church organ of the highest standard, to accommodate both contemporary music ministry and traditional church music; has a spacious Cry Room for mothers with babies, equipped with excellent sound and a proper view of the sanctuary inside; is both aesthetically and practically, truly of exceptional standard and creativity; accommodates our church offices and a modern, well equipped kitchen with patio; provides for an outside social area with braai and other facilities to accommodate smaller, intimate and less formal functions and receptions.

NARRATIVE:

1. Turning of the sod - 24 June 2006
2. Erection of steel structure - from 19 July 2006
3. Brickwork commenced during August 2006
4. First church service - 3 June 2007
5. Dedication of the chapel to Gods work and glory - 21 July 2007.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

God blessed our building project and provided in our needs through the sacrificial giving of individual members, other churches and businesses.

The pews, organ, chandeliers, office technology, wooden cross, Communion Table, data projector and other smaller items were freely given and sponsored. The total value of these gifts and sponsorships amounts to more than R400 000.

DANKBAAR:

Al die lidmate en vriende van die CPK/CPC is opgewonde om ons besondere kapél te mag gebruik. Daar is soveel jare gedroom oor 'n eie plek van aanbidding en ons is baie dankbaar oor die voorreg om so 'n uitsonderlike gebou te mag hê om die Here se werk te kan doen. Ons weet dat die kerk van die Here uit mense bestaan wat Hom dien en volg, en is dankbaar dat die kapél vir die gemeente die geleentheid bied om betekenisvol en in die stemming van eerbied, aanbidding en groot vreugde te kan saamkom.

Ons glo dat ons kerkgebou vir die gemeente, en almal wat daarvan sal gebruik maak vir besondere geleenthede soos troues, familie herdenkings, musiek uitvoerings en ander geleenthede, baie vreugde en seën sal inhou.

Mag die Here almal seën wat ooit die kapél sal betree en gebruik!
