Our Content Digital Organ owns 31 classical organ registers and has 13 different historical sounds recorded from the best European organs such as Meantone and Werckmeister.
Every register and note can be tuned according to personal preference as well as the acoustics of the particular building. Our organ also has 112 contemporary voices that can be added to the registers or used individually, which provides exciting and creative accompaniment and allows for top performances by our organist. The congregation is excited about the authentic classical organ sound and the range of possibilities for our music ministry made possible by this top of the range, world class instrument. Excellent service by L’Organaro, South African representatives of Content Organs in The Netherlands allows for the consistent quality we require providing the music ministry we strive to assure at all times.
We also make use of a top of the range digital ClaviTech piano to achieve our goals to provide the best of both classical and contemporary church music for the congregation. Various concerts and recitals are planned by the Chapel Organist and we look forward to not only promoting excellent church music, but also enjoying a variety of simply the best music available. Praise and worship and warm, heartily singing during Sunday service and other occasions remain the highest priorities, are sincerely appreciated by all and applied with vigour and dynamic energy by all participants. Our music ministry must always only be to the glory of God and the edification of all who worship with us. An exceptional musician and best possible organ and digital piano contribute towards reaching these goals and purposes.
The English medium service takes place every Sunday morning at 09:30. Holy Communion is celebrated on the second Sunday of every month.
Everyone feels at home at our Christian church family. We learn how to follow Jesus every day. We give a lot of attention to the needs of younger couples with children, teens and young adults. We pray that our services will remain passionate and be inspiring to all generations within our church family. At our "blended" style of Sunday Services, we choose to utilise what we have learned from the best of all worship styles. Teaching of the Word of God that also takes note of universal Christian celebrations such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost, as well as regular intercession and an emphasis on worship and celebration, are some of the characteristics of our Sunday Service. We believe our members prefer our informal, orderly services and warm family style fellowship, whilst showing respect and reverence for God are high priorities.
